The Jackson and Lujan Team

Dr. Deborah Sheppard attended the University of Texas where she completed her requirements for admission to the University of Houston College of Optometry. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Optometry and then went on to complete her Doctorate of Optometry in 1998. Part of her optometry education included an externship in Madrid, Spain, where she honed her skills for complicated contact lens fits, as well as her Spanish. Dr. Sheppard joined the Jackson and Lujan team in 1998, and then left for the Big Apple at the end of 2000. She came back to San Antonio in 2007 and now co-owns the practice with Dr. Shawna Fox.
